About Street Urban Dance Co. ""Get ready to get phunky""       Day of dance 2005 - Horley   Its only just begun!! Street Urban Dance co (formally Salsa Latina) has been in business since 2000 originally set up a salsa dance company by Andy Moore with his love of dancing. After nine years of dancing and teaching salsa diverse his skills from salsa to hip-hop learning from of the top choreographers and teachers at Pineapple Dance Studios London.   In 2005 Salsa Latina changed its name to Street Urban Dance Co after setting up street/ hip hop dance classes in Horley, Surrey. Within three months SUDC had already arranged and organsied a major dance event in Surrey called 'Day of Dance' setting up over 12 hrs of dance workshops of different dances (ceroc, street, salsa,hip-hop, tango, merengue, bachata, and more) with over 150 people taking part in the Oakwood School, Horley Through 2005 SUDC continued to grow across Surrey and Kent with venues opening in Sutton, Farnham and Tunbridge Wells with people of different ages and dance backgrounds coming to class from the budding beginner to perfomers and dance teachers of other dance styles. SUDC welcomes everyone, as long as you have the passion to learn a bag of patience and an openness to fun then great you will be a great dancer. As we move into 2006 SUDC has opened up two new exciting venues in Crawley, West Sussex and Croydon, Surrey with an ever increasing class numbers rising all wanting to learn some funky new hip-hop street jazz moves to the latest hip-hop ,old skool and funk music. One thing is for sure...you will have FUN!!! In all of the SUDC venues we try and make sure there is a friendly buzzing atmosphere with an emphasis on having fun but also learning technique and how to get with the groove. Just remember to be a good dancer it take time just like learning to write and read, so please be patient as the benefits are great ; improved fitness, new moves to show friends, body self awareness, improved stamina, flexibility and also self confidence.
